about nani vazana

Nani Vazana has appeared on concert stages around the world (including Songlines Encounters Festival at King’s Place, London Jazz Festival and the Kennedy Center in New York), and on BBC Radio 3 (hear here), singing not only traditional Ladino songs from North Africa and the Iberian peninsula, but creating new songs in a language that has less than 200,000 speakers worldwide. Get a front row seat to hear her perform these songs in the intimate surroundings of a Lambeth town house, where you’ll also get the chance to ask Nani about the language and the songs.

“Nani’s performance at Tres Culturas Festival evoked a storm, both on stage & in the audience. I can’t recall the last time I was clinging so hard to the edge of my seat, waiting for a performer to relieve me & let me breathe again”
– El Pais, ES
